Engaged Sessions
Engaged sessions are a key metric in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) that measure how long visitors stay on your site and how much they interact with your content. This metric is crucial for understanding the level of engagement your site experiences and can be used to identify which content is most popular and which areas of your site are most visited.
In GA4, engaged sessions are calculated based on the average time spent on the site and the number of interactions with the site. The more time visitors spend on your site and the more they interact with your content, the higher your engaged session count will be.
To view your engaged sessions in GA4, you can use the Real-Time report to see how many engaged sessions you're currently experiencing or the Audience Overview report to see your total engaged sessions over a specified time period.
